How to find other event attendees on Discover
Once you have joined an event via an event link, you can filter Discover to see only the profiles of other people going to the same event.
How to apply the Event filter
- Open Discover.
- Tap Filters at the top of the screen.
- Scroll down to the Event field.
- Select your event from the list.
- Tap Apply Filters.
Discover now shows only people who joined via the same event link. The number shown on the Filters button tells you how many filters are active.
Combine filters to narrow the results
The Event filter works alongside all other Discover filters. You can layer them to find the most relevant people.
Useful combinations:
- Event + Location: find attendees in the same city, useful for local events or side meetings
- Event + Role: narrow to a specific job title keyword, such as "Head of Growth" or "founder"
- Event + Industry: useful for sector-specific events
- Event + Goals: find people open to the same type of conversation
To add more filters, open Filters, make your selections, and tap Apply Filters again.
Remove the filter when you want to browse more broadly
The Event filter only shows people tagged to that event. If you want to browse the full Netch network, open Filters and tap Reset Filters, or deselect the event individually.
If you do not see the event in the list
The event list in the Event filter shows all events available in Netch. If yours is not there, the event owner has not created it yet.
Ask the event owner to create the event, then add it to your profile. See Add a community event to your profile for how. Once the event is created and added, it will appear in the filter.
