How to book a call with a new connection

When you match with someone, Netch sends an automatic intro message in Chat. That message includes both members' Calendar Link values.

Use either booking link to set up a call. The other person can click it and book a time directly.

Where the booking link appears

The booking link appears in the match intro message after a match is created.

It also stays available in Chat after matching, so you can return to it later if you need to reschedule or confirm a time.

Book now or send a short message first

Book right away when the reason to talk is already clear.

This works well after a strong event connection, a warm intro, or a very specific profile match.

Send a short chat first when you need a little context.

Use Chat to confirm the topic, compare availability, or make sure the call is worth both calendars.

Keep that first message short. Mention what you noticed, why you reached out, and what you want to cover.

If a calendar link is outdated or not working

Every active profile on Discover needs a valid Calendar Link. That is part of the required Basics.

If the link no longer works or points to an old booking page, do not keep trying to book through it.

Send a short message in Chat and ask them to update their Calendar Link in Settings > Profile.

Practical etiquette

Send one clear sentence about why you want the call.

Share the context that matters, such as the event you met at, the problem you both mentioned, or the topic you want to compare.

Offer a small time window when useful. For example, say you are free this week or that you can do 15 to 30 minutes.

If you are using the other person's link, respect the time they set up. Pick a slot that fits their booking page.

Keep your own Calendar Link current too. A valid https:// URL is part of the required Basics fields.

Use the link to make scheduling easy, then move the rest of the conversation back to Chat.
