How to add your calendar link (and free tools to create one)

Your calendar link is how Netch closes the loop between a match and a real conversation. When you match with someone, Netch sends both of you an automatic intro message that includes both users' calendar links. The other person clicks your link to book a call directly.

Without a valid calendar link, that handoff breaks. The link is also one of the 7 required Basics fields, so until you add it, Discover filters won't work and your swipes won't be recorded.

How to add your calendar link

1. Go to Settings > Profile.
2. Find the Calendar Link field in the Basics section.
3. Paste your booking page URL.
4. Click Update Profile.

The field requires a URL starting with https://. A plain domain or a link without the protocol will not save.

Free tools to create a booking page

You need a public booking page that lets anyone schedule time with you without logging in. Here are three free options.

Calendly

Go to calendly.com and create a free account. Set up a one-on-one event type. Your booking link will look like https://calendly.com/yourname/30min. This is the most widely recognized option among SaaS professionals.

Cal.com

Go to cal.com for an open-source alternative. The setup is similar to Calendly. Your link will look like https://cal.com/yourname/30min. The free tier covers everything you need.

Google Calendar appointment scheduling

If you have a Google account, this is built in. Open Google Calendar and look for Appointment schedules in the main menu. Google generates a public booking page at no cost.

Common mistakes

Pasting a URL without https://: The field will reject it. Make sure your URL starts with https://.

Using a link that requires a login: If the person clicking your link has to sign in to view it, the booking flow breaks. Always test your link in an incognito window before pasting it.

Using a link to your calendar view: A shared view of your calendar is not a booking page. The other person needs to be able to select a time and confirm without your involvement.

Why this field is mandatory

Netch is built around scheduled calls. The calendar link is the mechanism that makes that happen. Every other part of the matching flow depends on it working correctly.
