How to invite a friend and appear as their first card on Discover

Bring a friend onto Netch in two steps, then make sure your card is the first one they see in Discover.

How to invite a friend

Open Settings → Invite a Friend.

Step 1: invite them to sign up. Copy the sign-up link and send it to your friend. After creating their account, they need to fill in the few mandatory profile details to unlock their profile.

Step 2: share your profile card. Once their profile is unlocked, share one of these:

• Your profile link. When they open it, your card appears first in their Discover tab.
• Your profile code. A 6-character code. Your friend enters it in the "Have a friend's code?" box on their own Invite a Friend page, and your card appears first in their Discover tab.

The link and the code only work for friends whose profile is already unlocked. If they open your link too early, Netch asks them to complete their profile and open the link again.

How you match

Netch matches only when you both like each other.

• Your friend swipes right on your card.
• They appear in your Interested tab.
• You like them back, and it's a match.

If you already liked them before, their right swipe creates the match straight away.

Already matched with this friend?

If you've matched before, your link or code won't show your card again in Discover. Find them using search in the Chat tab, or in the Network tab if you've marked your meeting as completed.

Tips

• Complete your own profile first. You need an unlocked profile to share your card, and it's the first impression your friend gets.
• If your friend passed on you in the past, opening your link or entering your code shows your card again.
• Your card shows first even if your friend has Discover filters on. It's marked "Shared with you by link/code".
