Your first week on Netch: a simple checklist
Seven days is enough to go from signup to your first real conversation. Here's what to do.
Day 1: Complete your profile
- Fill in all 8 Basics fields: Full Name, Job Title, Company, Country, Professional Bio, Goals, Calendar Link, LinkedIn
- Add at least 3 Stand Out fields (Industry, and two of Tools, Skills, Sectors, or Personal Bio is a good start)
- Save your profile
- Confirm the "Ready to match" label is showing
Your profile is your first impression. A complete one means better matches and a higher chance someone swipes back.
Day 2: Explore Discover
- Open Discover
- Browse without filtering first to get a feel for who's on the platform
- Try at least one filter (role, industry, city) to see how it narrows results
You won't match with anyone until you swipe. Take this day just to look around.
Day 3: Start swiping
- Swipe right on at least 5 people you'd genuinely like to meet
- Swipe left freely. There's no penalty.
Matches happen when both people swipe right. The more you swipe, the higher the chances.
Day 4: Check for matches
- Open your Matches tab
- If you have a mutual match, Netch will have already sent the intro message
- The message includes both calendar links. Click the other person's to book a call.
Day 5: Send a message
- If you matched but haven't heard back, send a short follow-up
- Keep it simple. One or two lines is enough.
- Reference something specific from their profile
Day 7: Book a call
- Aim to have at least one call booked by the end of the week
- 20 minutes is enough for a first conversation
- You don't need an agenda. Show up curious.

- Profile complete (8/8 Basics)
- At least 3 Stand Out fields filled
