How matching works on Netch

    Swiping in Discover

In Discover, swipe right to show interest in someone. Swipe left to pass.

There is no limit on swipes. You can keep browsing and swiping as much as you want.

    When a match happens

A match is created when two people both swipe right on each other.

Swiping right once does not create a match. The other person also has to swipe right.

    What happens after a match

When a match is created, Netch sends an automatic intro message to both people.

That message includes both calendar links. Use it to pick a time and move the conversation forward.

The match also appears in the Matches tab.

You can then continue the conversation in Chat.

    What can block matching

    Basics must be complete

All Basics fields must be complete before swipes are recorded.

If your Basics are incomplete, you can still browse Discover, but your swipes will not count.

    Calendar Link must be valid

A valid Calendar Link is part of the Basics requirement.

If your Calendar Link is missing or invalid, your profile is not fully complete. That means Discover stays locked and your swipes are not recorded.

When a match happens, the automatic intro message includes both calendar links.

For setup help, see "How to add your calendar link."

    What a left swipe does

A left swipe passes on a profile.

It does not create a match.

It does not use up any swipe limit.
