What to expect at a Netch meetup
Netch meetups are intentionally small. The format is designed to make it easier to have real conversations rather than collect business cards.
What the format looks like
A Netch meetup brings together a focused group of SaaS professionals in one location. The group is small enough that you can have a real conversation with most people in the room.
There is no stage, no presentations, and no agenda. The point is the conversations.
What to do before you arrive
Join via the event link
If the organizer shared a Netch join link, click it and log in before the event. This tags you to the event so other attendees can find you in Discover.
Complete your profile
Open Settings > Profile and fill in your Basics. Other attendees browse profiles before the meetup to decide who they want to meet. A complete profile helps you show up clearly.
Browse attendees in Discover
Open Discover, tap Filters, and select the event from the Event field. Browse the profiles of people who are going and pick a short list of people you would genuinely want to meet. Three to five is enough.
Reach out early
If someone looks relevant, send a short message before the meetup. Use the event as your reason to connect. Getting one or two conversations started before you arrive makes the meetup feel more intentional and less random.
What to expect on the day
Show up ready to have a small number of good conversations.
Some people will already know each other. Others will be meeting for the first time. The event gives everyone a shared reason to start talking, which makes introductions easier than in other settings.
If you already matched with someone in Discover, you can coordinate in Chat to find each other at the venue.
After the meetup
Follow up the same day or the next morning while the conversations are still fresh.
Open Chat and send a short note to the people you met. Reference the conversation and share one specific next step: a resource, a call, an intro.
For more on that flow, see "After the event: how to keep the relationship going."
