What happens when you join via an event link

    When an event organizer uses Netch, they share a join link with their attendees. Clicking that link tags you to the event and lets you find other attendees in Discover.

    What happens when you click the link

    1. You land on a short confirmation page.
    2. If you already have a Netch account, log in. If not, sign up, it takes a few minutes.
    3. Once you are logged in, you are tagged to the event automatically.
    4. You are redirected to Discover.

    You do not need to do anything else to associate yourself with the event. The tag is applied as soon as you log in through the link.

    Where the event shows up

    There is no separate Events section. Your event connection lives inside the Filters panel on Discover.

    To see other attendees:

    1. Open Discover.
    2. Tap Filters at the top of the screen.
    3. Scroll to the Event field.
    4. Select your event from the list.
    5. Tap Apply Filters.

    Discover now shows only the profiles of people who joined via the same event link. You can combine this with other filters (role, location, industry, skills) to narrow further.

    Why your profile needs to be complete

    For other attendees to find you when they filter by the event, your profile needs to be complete.

    The 7 required Basics fields are:

    • Full Name
    • Job Title
    • Company
    • Country
    • Professional Bio
    • Goals
    • Calendar Link

    Until these are filled in, your Discover filters do not work and your swipes are not recorded. Other attendees who filter by your event will not see your card.

    Go to Settings > Profile and complete the Basics section before you start browsing.

    What to do next

    Once your profile is complete and you have applied the Event filter:

    1. Browse attendee profiles in Discover
    2. Swipe right on people you want to meet
    3. When both of you swipe right, you match and get an automatic intro message in Chat
    4. The intro message includes both calendar links. Use them to book a call before or after the event

    If you want to reach out before a match, complete your profile first so you are visible to others who are browsing.
